And so it begins! It’s Week 1 … finally, game week! Each game I’ll share our tailgate recipe of the week.
Recently, I came across a wonderful recipe blog site, Crockin’Girls.com, which has lots of great ideas for cooking just about everything in a crockpot. It’s an easy way to have the food ready when you arrive at the stadium tailgate site.
CROCKIN’ CHICKEN WINGS
Chicken Wings made easy in the crock pot!
1-2 Pounds of Chicken wings
1/2 Cup of Wing sauce (your favorite kind and temp)
1/4 Cup of Buffalo ranch dressing
1/4 Cup of Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce (or your favorite brand)
2 Cloves of garlic
4 Ounces of Cream cheese (half a block)
2 Teaspoons of Brown sugar
– Place all ingredients, excepts chicken wings, into a bowl and mix (just breaking the cream cheese into a few pieces, it will melt down).
– Place chicken wings into bottom of slow cooker and pour sauce on top.
– Cover and cook on High for 4 hours.
